Valentine's Fun

Heart Tic-Tac-Toe

Materials Needed

* red and pink construction paper
* white poster board or card stock paper
(8½" x 11")
* Heart Shaped cookie cutter
* scissors
* red or black marker
* ruler


Using the cookie cutter, trace out 5 pink and 5 red hearts on the constuction paper. Cut out.

On the poster board, use the ruler to draw 2 straight lines down and across, about a third of the way from the top and bottom and the 2 sides.

Play the traditional game of tic-tac-toe using the 2 different colored hearts instead of the X's and O's.

Heart Treasure Hunt

Materials Needed

* Kids valentines or construction paper
(red, pink, white, purple)
* Pen
* special Valentine's gift


Use inexpensive Valentine cards or cut out heart shapes of the construction paper.

Write instructions on the valentines like "Be Mine...On Time" to get your hunters looking for clocks where the next clue might be hidden. Be creative!

Hide the gift at the end of the clues.

NOTE: If doing this for young children, try drawing pictures instead of writing down the clues.
