Butterfly Hearts

Materials Needed

* Red, pink and white construction paper
* Scissors
* Paint
* Paint brushes


Cut out hearts from the construction paper.

Fold the hearts in half. Open.

Dab paint on one side of the heart.

Fold in half again to spread the paint.

Open and allow to dry.

Valentine HugBugs

Materials Needed

* Red, pink and white construction paper
* Scissors
* Glue
* White paper


Cut out hearts of different sizes from the construction paper.

Design and glue the hearts into imaginary creatures using only the hearts, such as catepillars, butterflies, monsters, aliens and flowers.

Glue the hugbugs to the white paper.
